Presidents Message
Greetings Everyone
It's an honor to represent Berkshire County Highway Superintendents Association as your president. With 38 years in construction field, including the last 21 in municipal, I’ve had many different experiences but am continually learning and growing, largely from network and friendships I’ve formed in association community.
B.C.H.S.A. has been strong for many years. Thanks to Jerry and Bill as well as many that came before them. As the world around us changes the realities of what we do stays the same! Whether its mud, snow, potholes, or drainage issues we must adapt and continue to provide our communities with our best, even though usually underfunded.
We need to keep pushing our elected officials to support and increase chapter 90 funding as well as other grant programs. When and elected position is vacated, or when and elected official not working for us, we need to support and vote in people who will support our cause.
Thank you to everyone who works to keep our roadways safe and well maintained.
